Follow up: anti-Allen West ad is not racist (says the NAACP)

A few days ago, I posted in disbelief about the reprehensible anti-Allen West ad showing him punching white women and stealing money from a black family.  I wondered the makers of the ad were racists.  Don’t worry, the NAACP has answered my questions:  the ad is not, in fact, racist.  The key is apparently that Allen West looks Congressional, and somehow (this isn’t stated outright, but it is necessarily their position for their conclusion to make sense) racists don’t hear dog whistles in picture of Congressional-looking African-Americans.  Well, then, thanks for clearing that up.

Hypocrites.

  1. Ben C says:

So it would be fair game to photoshop West’s face off the character and put Obama’s on?
