Coke for adults? No! Contraceptives for kids? Yes.

So, the same political party that will not allow a A grown adult to purchase a soft drink larger than 16 oz, now wants to allow children — without parental consent — to be able to receive prescription medication from their schools. Bloomberg wants to start handing out levonorgestrel (also known as “Plan B”) in public schools. Federal law makes it illegal for minors to purchase levonorgestrel without without a prescription.

Now, we’ve talked about contraception in the past… Hell, “Abortion” is its own category and “Sandra Fluke” has her own Content Tag. But, I’m not going to go there this time. I have just one question for any liberal that might happen to read this:

Why should it be illegal for an adult to purchase 17 ounces of a legal substance, yet it is okay to give 0.75 mg of an otherwise illegal substance to children?

Until Sandra Fluke or Mayor Bloomberg can answer me that question, I don’t want to hear a goddamn thing from any liberal about “choice.”
