Why does this kind of abject ignorance from the global waaaaarrrrmmming crowd no longer surprise me? Could it be that they’ve finally blamed so many things on global warm…. I mean… er… climate change… that it no longer has the ability to surprise?

    • Woodman says:

Bill Nye manages not to agree with her. I was surprised based on the fact that he blames everything else on climate change.

He proved it’s real in his aquarium dontchaknow?

  2. Ish says:

Global warming hysteria is not the issue here, so much as this is a stunning — if typical — display of old media ignorance of anything other than… well, being media. Her advanced degree in Journalism has taught her that science = global warning, she doesn’t have a bright ten-year old’s grasp of astronomy. But she’s on air and talking science to a science expert*, so her pavlov bell rings and she asks about climate change.

    * I like Bill Nye. But the dude is an engineer, so why he is explaining meteors on CNN instead of Nickelodeon would bug me… except CNN just proved that Nickelodeon’s target demo knows more about astrophysics than CNN’s staff.
